National Garden Clubs, Inc. provides education, resources, and national networking opportunities for its members to promote the love of gardening, floral design, and civic & environmental responsibility.


Arkansas garden clubs make a difference in the lives of individuals and in the communities of this state. Activities include friendly monthly meetings to share knowledge of gardening, landscaping, horticulture, and learning about floral design.

Who We Are


The Arkansas Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. is a nonprofit educational organization founded in 1931.  AFGC is a member of National Garden Clubs, Inc. with a membership of more than 200,000, as well as International Affiliates, making NGC the largest garden-related volunteer organization in the world. Our members create a powerful voice and expansive network for advancing common interests.

What We Enjoy

Many members enjoy garden tours, planning and participating in flower shows, attending state, regional, and national conventions, as well as participating in projects in local communities.
